SeaPaddling.com offer sea kayak tours along Waterford's Copper Coast and is based just outside Tramore, County Waterford. Seapaddling.com allows you the opportunity to kayak on the most beautiful stretch of the Irish coastline. The spectacular sea arches and caves of Waterford's Copper Coast are accessible to anyone who can sit in a kayak with a spirit of adventure! No experience is required as the trips are all instructor led and all safety equipment is provided. In addition to our guided half-day trips they also offer introductory Irish Canoe Union kayaking courses for paddlers aged 14 years and upwards. Their sea kayaking courses are designed to make you a better paddler. Courses are tailored for those interested in learning sea kayaking basics, those who want to improve their paddling skill level and for those who intend to be responsible for others on the water whether as professional or recreational paddlers. Courses are approved by the Irish Canoe Union and certificates are issued upon the completion of each course. Shielbaggan Outdoor Education Centre
Shielbaggan Outdoor Education Centre, located at the top of the Hook Peninsula in the South West Wexford village of Ramsgrange, it’s surrounded by stunning scenery. The centre enables you to try your hand at kayaking (white water, sea and flat water), canoeing (white water and flat water, coasteering, surfing, hillwalking, rock-climbing, abseiling, archery, orienteering, and team challenges. Ideal for children’s groups, families or groups of adults. Sheilbaggan OEC also offers a number of summer camps which generally take place in July and August and is for young people between the age of 8 and 16. Summer camps take place for five days from Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm. Your child can attend for one day or all five. Over the five days the young people will get the opportunity to try all the activities that we offer at Sheilbaggan. The programmes are weather dependant meaning that the activities change depending on the weather conditions. Our qualified staff will provide all the supervision and instruction required so you can relax safe in the knowledge that you children are having an exciting and enjoyable day and will be making new friends or and learning skill. Summer camps book up fast so book early to avoid disappointment.

Spraoi International Street Arts Festival
Spraoi International Street Arts Festival takes over the city centre of Waterford on the August Bank Holiday weekend and transforms the streets and squares of Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city into a series of giant stages. Street-theatre artists and musicians from around the world, mainly from Ireland, Netherlands, U.K., France, Italy, Catalonia, West Africa and U.S.A. create three days of stunning entertainment and virtually all events are free. The programme starts daily around lunchtime and runs late into the night. A highlight is the annual Spraoi Parade where hundreds of costumed performers, giant floats, live music and special effects combine to create a wonderful cultural experience. The event now attracts audiences in excess of 100,000 people to the city.
