Set in extensive wooded grounds that feature amongst many other delights – a croquet lawn, fine cut-stone outbuildings (currently under renovation), and the kitchen garden that provides much that Bryan and Martin will transform into delicious dinners – in a contemporary style that also makes good use of other local and artisan produce. But it is for the sheer sense of style pervading the house that it most famous – the enjoyment that Bryan and Martin have derived from their dedication to its restoration and furnishing is abundantly clear; elegant, yes, but with a great sense of fun too.
