Hanora's Cottage
Major renovations and extensions were completed at the Wall Family’s large modern guesthouse in the spring of 1999, but Hanora’s still nurtures the spirit of the ancestral home around which it is built. The Walls are caring and hospitable hosts and this plus the luxurious accommodation and good food make Hanora’s a very special place. Overnight guests have the privilege of starting the day with Hanora’s legendary breakfast buffet, which is the Munster and National winner of the Denny Irish Breakfast Award. A completely new restaurant and kitchen emerged from the extension of Hanora’s Cottage and imaginative, well-balanced menus make for some excellent dining.

Killane Castle
Kathleen and Jack Mernagh's magical farm B&B is the perfect place for stressed townies, especially with children in tow - a real castle, a 17th century house to stay in, and lots to do. The past and present mix effortlessly in Killiane Castle: the farmhouse and Towerhouse are 17th century and some of the 13th century Norman Castle still stands. Inside there's a spacious entrance hall, an elegant, comfortably furnished residents' sitting-room with an open fire, and there's a small room down a few steps used as a TV room. Climb up the 17th century staircase to the second and third floors, where individually-designed bedrooms have comfortable beds, en-suite facilities and great views over the countryside. There's a driving range, croquet, tennis court, lots of garden furniture (for all times of day and wind direction), very comfortable accommodation and plenty to read in both the sitting room and bedrooms (history of castle, area, books and magazines). This friendly family always have plans for further improvements and they are hoping to repair the castle, with a view to restoration in time. The working farm allows visitors to see a modern dairy in action and their own hens supply the eggs for the delicious breakfasts that Kathleen Mernagh serves here in a warm, cosy dining-room, buffet-style. No dinners are offered but the restaurants of Wexford are very close, or Kathleen will advise guests on the best local choices. Killiane is just a few miles from Wexford town so it's ideal for an overnight on the way to or from Rosslare Harbour (about 10 minutes)

Waterside Guesthouse Graiguenamanagh
Waterside Guesthouse and Restaurant overlooks the banks of the river Barrow. The river forms a central theme for everything in Graiguenamanagh and it the lifeblood of the town. The town dates back to the 13th century when Duiske Abbey, the largest Cistercian Monastery in Ireland, was established at the junction of the rivers Barrow and Duiske(Dubh Uisce Black Water). The monks are gone, but the Abbey remains, a vibrant church for the local community blessed with fantastic acoustics that have rung to the sounds of many famous voices, such as the Vienna Boys Choir and Ireland’s top traditional group, The Chieftains. Accommodation at Waterside feature one or two of the original pitch pine ceiling beams, designed to hold great weight of tonnes of bags of corn delivered by boat from Athy and other far flung towns. In fact all the rooms are different in shape and size, but all offer the same homely atmosphere whether neat doubles or large family rooms. And best of all is that all our rooms overlook the river Barrow and the old stone bridge. All rooms have en-suite shower, television, telephone, tea/coffee, and all rooms overlook the river Barrow.

Top Holiday Destinations of Ireland's South East
The South East of Ireland, comprising the five counties of Carlow, Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford and Wexford, is an evocative patchwork of fertile valleys and plains.
